Cab Driver Shot

Police in New Haven are investigating a taxi cab shooting Wednesday night on Poplar Street.  The driver's taxi crashed into a utility pole after he was shot, according to police.  The driver is in serious condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital.


Pedestrian Hit In Middletown

A Middletown woman is recovering in the hospital after she was hit by a car Wednesday night in Middletown.  Carla Winter walked onto Washington Street into the path of a Chevy Cavalier, according to police.  She was taken to Hartford Hospital and is in stable condition this morning. 


Murder Suspect in Court

A New London man faced a judge Wednesday, charged in connection with a Tuesday murder.  Dashawn Revels, 20, of Brooklyn, N.Y. faces murder and weapons charges.  He is accused of shooting and killing Bryan Davila, 20, on Eugene O'Neill Road, Tuesday.  Revels is being held on $1 million bond.


Terror Threat Investigation

The Department of Environmental Protection is waiting for results on soil samples after an Eco-terrorist threat in Plainfield, Tuesday.  The agency began scraping on Mill Brook Road Wednesday night after an Eco-terror group threatened to contaminate the area because of the proposed construction of a wood burning plant.
