State Police Identify Man Killed in Crash on Route 169 in Lisbon

Connecticut State Police have identified the man who was killed in a crash on Route 169 in Lisbon on Saturday morning.

State police said 23-year-old Elijah Kingsley Diacumski, of North Franklin, was driving south on North Burnham Highway in Lisbon when he lost control of his vehicle around 4:30 a.m.

According to police, Diacumski's vehicle traveled across the northbound lane into the grass and his driver's side rear hit a stone wall.

The vehicle then turned 180 degrees and continued to travel southbound sideways along the shoulder and hit a utility pole, police added.

After hitting the pole, the vehicle flipped over onto its roof and was extensively damaged, authorities said.

Diacumski was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. His next of kin was notified, officials said.
