The forecast for Halloween might leave you spooked.
Wind and rain are expected across the state. A wind advisory is in effect for part of the state Thursday night and Friday, with a high wind warning in effect in parts of central and eastern Connecticut. Wind gusts could reach between 45 to 55 mph.
Rain is expected to continue right into the evening hours. There will be some breaks in the rain, and it might not be a complete washout for trick-or-treaters. Highs will be in the 60s.

The rain and wind continues into Friday, with the worst of it before daybreak. There could be scattered power outages and thunderstorms for the morning commute. The day will become sunny with early highs in the 60s.
