Hartford police interviewed drivers at checkpoints on Kent St. Tuesday asking for information that will help find the driver who struck an officer late Monday night.
The officer spotted a car that East Windsor police were looking for. As he approached the car, it sped toward him. He jumped on the hood and rode it about 100 feet until he fell off. The driver fled the scene.
The officer is in stable condition at Hartford Hospital. He wasn’t seriously injured.
Police are looking for a 2008 Dodge Charger with CT license plate number 900 WYO.
