A man was arrested for a DWI after arriving at a state police barracks to pick up his brother while intoxicated.
According to state police, Michael Bourgoin, 44 of Colchester, drove a Volkswagen Jetta to Troop H in Hartford to pick up his brother who had been arrested.
State Troopers suspected that Bourgoin may be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Bourgoin was given a field sobriety test, which he failed.
Bourgoin was taken into custody and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
Bourgoin is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on June 2, 2016
