A man was shot on Route 8 in Bridgeport Wednesday, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said the man walked into St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport with a non-life threatening gunshot wound around 11:20 a.m. The male victim said he was shot on Route 8 southbound in the Bridgeport area.
State police said this does not appear to be a random act or road-rage related and there is no danger to the public.
No other details were immediately available.
