A man was spotted taking photographs under a door in the women's dressing room at a Target store on Buckland Hills Drive in South Windsor on Sunday evening, police said, and they are trying to identify him.
South Windsor police said the man held a recording device under an unsuspecting woman's changing room door around 6 p.m. and another woman who noticed alerted security.
"Placing a cell phone or other recording device underneath a dressing room door in an effort to record the person who is using the dressing room," Deputy Police Chief Scott Custer said.
On Monday, police released a photo of the man they are looking for. He is around 5-feet-9 and has spiked brown hair, police said.
Anyone with information should call South Windsor Police Officer Tina Mazzoccoli at 860-644-2551.
