Memorial Service Tonight in South Windsor

Across the state and beyond, people have been expressing messages of condolence to family and friends of victims killed in the mass shooting in Manchester on Tuesday morning.

On Wednesday night, a South Windsor church will hold a memorial service, allowing people to come together in memory of the victims who were killed and wounded during the shooting at Hartford Distributors.

Father Daniel Sullivan, pastor of St. Margaret Mary Church, will preside over the service.

He said one of the reasons the church is holding the service is that Craig Pepin, one of the victims killed on Tuesday, attended the church.

The memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Road, in South Windsor.

In addition to the service, someone set up a Facebook page up on Tuesday, where people have been posting messages.

The messages of condolence come from former coworkers of the victims as well as people who never met the victims, but wanted to comment.

"I used to work upstairs in the Sign room made a lot of good friends there, thoughts and prayers," Ryan O'Connell posted.

"From an employee at an AB Dist. in Newark, Ohio, my heart is breaking for all of you. My prayers go out to the employees, their loved ones, and the whole community. Such an unnecessary tragedy. May God Bless you and comfort you," Pam Firich posted.
