Now That We've Dug Out, It's Sorta A Nice Long Weekend

After the first massive wave of snow dumped anywhere from 6 to 12 inches of snow across the state, another batch is on its tail through the early afternoon.

Plus, now we're dealing with heavy winds, particularly on the shoreline.

The Governor ordered all non-essential state employees to report on a two-hour delay, and urges everyone to use caution on the roads.  She suggests travelers avoid going out unless necessary.

All 623 Department of Transportation plows, plus 123 private contractors, are working on the highways.

State police report numerous accidents on major and secondary roads.

At Bradley International Airport, nearly 80 percent of flights have been delayed or cancelled.
