Nurse Accused of Fondling Himself in Front of Paralyzed Patient Denied Probation Program

A male nurse accused of fondling himself in front of a paralyzed patient has been denied entry into a special probation program.

The Connecticut Post reports Superior Court Judge Earl Richards found Tuesday that 44-year-old Michael Albert should face trial on charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Prosecutors say the 29-year-old woman used a special computer that interprets her eye movements to tell authorities about the abuse by Albert, who was hired as a home-care aide.

She said Albert would talk about wanting to have sex with his supervisor and another woman, and in July 2013 masturbated in front of her while watching pornography on his laptop computer.

In court, she used her eyebrows to signal that she opposed allowing Albert into the Accelerated Rehabilitation program.
