Route 9 in Cromwell has reopened following a motor vehicle crash on the highway, according to the CT Department of Transportation.
The DOT said the northbound side of the highway was closed between exits 16 and 18 because of an overturned car.
The accident was reported at approximately 6:10 p.m. and was cleared a little over two hours later.
It is unknown if there are any injuries at this time.
