A person was seriously injured in a crash involving a scooter in Easton Tuesday night, police said.
Route 58 was closed between Valley and Pine Tree roads for several hours after a car accident in the area.
Police said a man fell off his disabled scooter that was being towed by another vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and remains in stable condition.

The Fairfield Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and is investigating.
Editor's Note: Fire officials initially said that the accident was fatal. They later reported that there are serious injuries and the accident was not deadly.
