A power outage closed a middle school in Wallingford on the first day of school, but power is back on and classes will resume Wednesday at Moran Middle School.
Wallingford Schools Superintendent Dr. Sal Menzo said a tree fell on a pole and took out the main power to the school. Frontier owns the pole and needed to replace it before power could be restored.
Classes will be in session tomorrow.
