The storm system that brought a few icy patches for some hill towns overnight has transitioned to all rain for today.
Expect periods of rain through the afternoon. NBC Connecticut meteorologists expect as the storm passes to the north and east, there could be a brief period of snow on the backside of storm in the northwest and northeast hills.
High pressure will clear the skies overnight and bring sunshine for the start of the week.
The next chance for showers will move in on Wednesday along with wind that will last through Thanksgiving.
