Several popular state parks have closed on Tuesday after reaching parking capacity.
Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme, Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, Silver Sands State Park in Milford and Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford have closed for the day.
Highs on Tuesday are expected to be between 80 and 88 inland and near 80 at the shore.
