Double Murder Suspect in Custody

Rocky Williams turned himself in to police Saturday.

A man wanted for killing his estranged wife and another man in Hartford was arrested Saturday.

Rocky Williams turned himself in to police around 4:30 a.m., according to police sources. He had an attorney with him as he walked into Hartford Police Headquarters.

Williams is accused of murders of his estranged wife, Alyceson Archer Williams, and her friend Dean Sammuels. Both victims were shot inside an apartment on Maple Avenue Dec. 15.

"I'm very happy he turned himself in," said Elaine Felder, Alyceson Archer Williams' mother.  "Maybe now justice will be done."

Williams was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm when he turned himself in, police sources said. He suffered the wound the day of the murders, but it was unclear how he was shot. He was taken to the hospital after turning himself in.
