A 17-year-old from Bridgeport has died after a crash in Trumbull early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to Old Town Road near Quarry Road when several 911 calls came in around 12:30 a.m. after a single-vehicle crash.
Investigators said 17-year-old Elijah Page was alone in the car. Officers gave medical aid while Nelson Ambulance arrived and helped with treating the victim before transporting him to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police said the teen was heading west on Old Town Road and hit the guard rail and bridge abutment near White Plains Road, Route 127, before stopping near Quarry Road.

The crash scene spanned the entire block of Old Town Road, according to police.
Police believe speed may be a factor in the crash, but it remains under investigation.
