Ski Sundown in New Hartford will be closing early Monday because of the forecast for rain. It will close at 4 p.m., according to the website.
The trails were expected to be open until 11:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve and the ski patrol was supposed to hold a torchlight parade a couple minutes before midnight, but rain is expected to be light toward evening before become steadier and heavier through the evening toward midnight.
Ski Sundown plans to be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
