Rain is impacting the morning commute and it has been locally moderate to heavy at times. Rain looks to taper off around, or just before, lunchtime.
Locally heavy downpours and perhaps a rumble of thunder are possible in the evening as a cold front pushes through, though many areas look to stay dry.
This isn't our only chance for rain this week. We have a much smaller chance for scattered showers Tuesday afternoon after a partly sunny start to the day.
It's not just the rain we're tracking, but a tricky temperature forecast as well. Right now temperatures look to stay in the upper 50s and low 60s for Monday, but getting cooler in the mid to low 50s for Tuesday.

Rain chances increase again as we look towards the end of the week and start of the weekend.
