What You're Doing Tonight: April 22

The music of the night will be playing in Hartford, starting tonight.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic "Phantom of the Opera" opens at the Bushnell Theater. Guys, hear me out on this one. It'll be worth it.

For those who don't know, "Phantom" traces the tragic love story of a beautiful opera singer and a young composer shamed by his physical appearance into a shadowy existence beneath a majestic Paris opera house. Filled with mystery and suspense, the award-winning musical is now the longest running show in Broadway history.

The first show is tonight at 7:30 p.m., with evening and matinee showings through May 10. Tickets start at $28. Let us know what you think of the show.

Think you've got what it takes to be the next big thing?

Head to 960 Main tonight for Mezzanine's "Got Talent." Comedian Christine O'Leary hosts the competition each Wednesday at 7 p.m.  Admission is $10, but you can't buy talent.

In East Hampton tonight, it's not just ladies night. It's Wicked Women's Wednesday at Angelico's Lake House Restaurant. Women can take advantage of not just men, but also some great specials including half-price margaritas, martinis and appetizers.

Here's my question, what about the nice girls? Do they get to drink at a discount too? Or do they have to pretend to be Lindsay Lohan to get their margaritas?

Wicked Women's Wednesday runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Angelico's Lake House Restaurant in East Hampton.

Cavey's Restaurant Upstairs in Manchester is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a special menu, brought back from 1933.

You can enjoy a prix fixe three-course Italian meal for just $19.33 (get it?). Not sold yet? The New York Times called Cavey's one of the most authentic, moderately priced Italian restaurants in the country.

Now that's a compliment.
