‘Wing Tip Strike' Reported on Southwest Flight at Bradley

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after an incident with the wing of a plane as it was landing at Bradley International Airport during strong winds Monday night.

The accident and incident notification on the FAA website says Southwest Airlines Flight 2169, a Boeing 737, had a “wing tip strike” while attempting to land at Bradley at 11:42 p.m. Monday.

No injuries are reported.
