August 7 can't come fast enough.
20th Century Fox released the first trailer for "Fantastic Four," a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's longest-running superhero team, Tuesday. The sneak peek shows Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm/The Thing), Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), Kate Mara (Susan Storm/Invisible Woman) and Miles Teller (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic) transforming from ordinary humans to superheroes after they teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe.
Together, they must save Earth from a former friend, Victor Domashev/Doom (Toby Kebbell).
The Fantastic Four reboot comes from director Josh Trank; producers Gregory Goodman, Simon Kinberg and Matthew Vaughn; and screenwriters Kinberg and Jeremy Slater. Though the movie hasn't even arrived in theaters, a sequel is already planned for release on June 2, 2017.
