Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Wednesday that Iran would not stop atomic research despite economically ruinous sanctions by the West, NBC News reported. Khamenei added that negotiations with the United States and its allies should continue to prove Iran has peaceful intentions. The remarks were made to a group of nuclear scientists and officials in observation of Iran's "Nuclear Technology Day."
