Houston Police Announce Efforts to Protect Hip-Hop Community After Rapper's Murder
After the murder of Migos rapper Kirsnick Khari Ball, better known as Takeoff, Houston police chief Troy Finner announced that the department would be organizing a committee to better support and protect the city’s artists. “Sometimes the hip-hop community gets a bad name… [but there are] a lot of great people in the hip-hop community. And I respect them.”
