Police have identified a body found in the Thames River as 53-year-old William Missino, Jr., of Norwich.
Missino’s was reported missing Dec. 5 and his body was found in the river in Ledyard earlier this week.
The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office identified Missino today.
It’s not clear how he disappeared or how he ended up in the river.
State police and Norwich police are continuing to investigate.
