Firefighters Battle Blaze in Torrington

Ilana Gold, NBC Connecticut

Crews have responded to a fire in Torrington that has spread to neighboring structures.

Firefighters are battling a two-alarm fire at 64 Griswold St. in Torrington and there is damage to three houses, according to the Register Citizen.

Fire officials said they are working on hot spots, which has been difficult because of the wind.

The Citizen reports that houses on both sides have been damaged.

Griswold Street is still closed as crews respond.
