Horse Might Have Injured Woman at East Hampton Farm: Police

A 58-year-old woman who was badly injured in East Hampton might have been kicked by a horse, state police said on Wednesday.

Police said Lisa Rader sustained multiple injuries and was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where she was in serious condition.

The major crimes unit responded to White Birch Farm on White Birch Road, an equestrian facility, early on Wednesday morning.

A neighbor said the woman was bloody when she came out of the house early Wednesday morning and was taken away in an ambulance.

East Hampton Police called state police at 3:45 a.m. to assist with the investigation at the home.

Now, police are looking into the possibility that the woman might have been kicked by a horse.
