A 14-year-old teen mom, who had been missing with her 2-week-old son were found safe Saturday night.
State Police put out a silver alert for the mom and son Saturday afternoon.
Shiandra Davis, 14, and her 2-week-old son Jeremiah Davis were last seen at the St. Anges Home on Mayflower Street in West Hartford at 10:15 a.m.
Authorities were concerned because the child has nutritional issues and he is supposed to be monitored by staff.
"Shiandra may not have adequate means to provide the appropriate level of care due to Jeremiah's health concerns," said police.
According to investigators, Shiandra and her son were found at a relatives house in Hartford after the family member contacted police.
The child is now in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.
