Silver Alert Canceled for Danbury Mother and Three Children

    Jacobet Vasquez, 32, and her children, Michael Guzman, 6, Joanna Guzman, 5, and Elizabeth Guzman, 4, were reported missing from Danbury and were last seen on Friday, Aug. 15, according to State Police.

    A Danbury mother and her three young children were found safe and sound after State Police issued a Silver Alert earlier in the morning on Saturday, Danbury police confirmed.

    Jacobet Vasquez, 32, and her children, Michael Guzman, 6, Joanna Guzman, 5, and Elizabeth Guzman, 4, were reported missing from Danbury after they were last seen together on Friday, Aug. 15, State Police said in a news release about the Silver Alert earlier on Saturday.

    State Police had classified Vasquez and Michael Guzman as "endangered missing" and described Elizabeth and Joanna Guzman as "endangered" runaways.

    State Police have not released further details on the circumstances.
