Then, on Sept. 9, Deleone Smith, 25, was killed in a dispute with Alejandro Hernandez, who has been arrested in connection with the homicide. Joseph Moore, 31, was shot in the cheek and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Smith's funeral was last Friday, according to his cousin, Joyce Martin.

"Stop the violence," she said. "People are getting killed left and right around here."

The march will end across the street from her house on Ives Street at Kingdom 1st ministry. It begins before 10 a.m. at 308 Walnut Street, the WOW NRZ community center.
