Armed Robbery in Wesleyan Dorm
Police said two students were robbed in their dorm room on campus.
Middletown Police are investigating.
Middletown police are looking for the man who robbed two Wesleyan University students at gunpoint inside a dorm on Friday night.
Police said the robber pulled out a gun inside the Nicholson Residence Hall on campus around 7 p.m. on Friday, bound two students with electrical tape and took money, cell phones and other electronics.
After the robber left, the two students were able to free themselves and dial 911. The students were not hurt and police believe the students were targeted.
The robber is described as 5 feet, '6 and heavy set. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. He also had a red and black backpack with him.
