    UConn Hoop coach Geno Auriemma is celebtating the birth of his first grandchild.

    Geno Auriemma has his eye on a new, male "recruit" these days.

    The UConn Women's Hoops Coach and his wife became grandparents for the first time when their daughter, Jenna, gave birth to Christian James Stigliano on Tuesday night.

    "Shows you the difference between young people and people my age — her husband (Todd) says to me, 'Aug. 24 — what's the most famous No. 24?'" Auriemma told the Hartford Courant. "I said, ' Willie Mays.' He said, 'Kobe.' That's the difference between 56 and 30.

    He said it feels good [to be a grandfather.
