Body of Missing Kayaker Pulled from River

    Clinical Trials at Hartford HealthCare
Authorities have found the bodies of two kayakers reported missing during storms on Friday.

Divers have recovered the body of a second kayaker reporting missing in Wilton on Friday night.

The search for James Lind, 46, of Wilton, began just after 6 p.m. on Friday and his body was discovered around noon on Monday.

Police believe that Lind and Doreen Wallace, 50, were kayaking together in the Norwalk River on Friday and their boat capsized.

Crews found Wallace around 6 p.m. on Friday, unconscious. She was taken to Norwalk Hospital and later pronounced dead.

During the search, authorities found a two-person kayak and learned from a witness that Wallace’s boyfriend, Lind, was missing.

Wilton Dive and Recue expanded the search through the weekend and found clothing they believed belonged to Lind, but they did not find him until Monday.

    An autopsy will be performed.
