Avon police are investigating after a partly decayed body was found inside a home Monday afternoon.
A letter carrier called police after realizing that mail had been piling up at 16 Birch Road for weeks, police said.
Investigators were processing the scene, but said it appeared there was no foul play involved in the man's death.
The body was being transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
