Guardian Angels Consider West Haven Chapter

A business owner contacted the group over concerns about crime.

The citizen patrol group that has patrolled the streets of New Haven, Hartford and Norwalk are considering opening another chapter in West Haven.

The New Haven Register reports that an area business owner contacted the group about break-ins and theft in the Campbell Avenue area.

Keith "Rocky" Pratt, who leads the New Haven chapter, told the Register that nine angels were in the neighborhood and spoke with business owners on Tuesday.

Mayor John Picard believes police department and the chief are doing an "excellent" job and the Guardian Angels have not reached out to him about opening up a local chapter.
