Happy Holidays, Honey! I Got You Arrested!

Husband up to "no good", wife said, when turning him in to the cops for bank robbery charges.

We can only imagine the coal Russell Jones of New Britain, Conn., is planning for his wife's stocking, after she turned him in as a suspected bank robber.

Investigators heard from his wife, Diane Jones, after she thought her husband was up to "no good", according to the New Britain Register

The Mrs. apparently found $3,000 in his room and after seeing the surveillance pictures from the Nov. 20 incidents in the local paper, she confronted her husband.  He promptly denied it, the paper reported.  Diane Jones then brought it to the attention of a probation officer, who the paper said got in touch with cops.

Russell Jones was already facing charges for a Nov. 30 heist at a Peoples Bank inside a grocery store, after police found a threatening note in his truck.  Police then added more charges for two bank robberies on Nov. 20.

Jones had been released after posting bond on the initial charges.  His bond was later upped to $1 million.
