Police Find Cheshire Marijuana Fields

With some help from the Massachusetts National Guard, Connecticut state police have tracked down marijuana growing fields deep in the wooded areas of Cheshire.

The State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force and the Massachusetts National Guard Counterdrug Aviation unit flew over several parts of Cheshire, looking for outdoor marijuana growing operations and they found several, state police said.

Detectives went into the area on the ground and found 49 plants and got rid of them, police said.

Police are investigation.
