State police are investigating after an armed robbery in the Denny’s parking lot in Westbrook Friday morning and said one person was arrested in Madison.
The armed robbery was at 11:30 a.m. Friday and troopers and state police K9s are searching in the area of the Interstate 95 South rest area in Madison.
Shadrach Ferguson, 23, of Norwalk, was taken into custody in a wooded area behind a rest area in Madison and has been charged with interfering with an officer. Bond was set at $10,000.
Police are still looking for one person. They said a Madison preschool was on lockdown for a short time.
