The Show Will Go On

It looks like Enfield Public Library will allow a screening of the Michael Moore documentary "Sicko" after all.

Enfield Mayor Scott Kaupin said the library will show the movie in the next few weeks as part of a series that will include multiple points of view on controversial topics, according to the Associated Press.

Library officials canceled a planned screening of the movie after the Republican mayor and some town council members complained. Moore's movie is critical of the U.S. health care system. The decision to cancel the screening led to accusations of censorship by the town.

Kaupin said the issue was never about whether the film should be shown, but whether the library should show more than one side of the health care debate, the Associated Press reported.
