A car fire has closed part of Interstate 91 south in Hartford on Wednesday morning.
State Dept. of Transportation officials said the vehicle fire is on I-91 southbound between exits 34 and 33.
The right and center lanes were closed, but have since reopened, officials added. At this time, the right shoulder is closed.
There is about one-and-a-half miles of congestion in the area between exits 35A and 33, authorities said.
There is no estimate for when the highway will fully reopen.
It's unclear if anyone was injured in the fire.
