A Fairfield county developer has signed a $45 million dollar deal to acquire four abandoned Showcase Cinemas sites.
The Hartford Courant is reporting that Summit Development of Stamford has retail plans for three of the former movie theater sites in East Hartford, East Windsor and Milford.
Summit has already bought the other site in Orange and sold it to United Illuminating.
The company plans to purchase the other three sites in the spring.
