The state Department of Transportation has about 400 trucks on the roads on Wednesday morning after snow coated the state on Tuesday and drivers are advised to keep speeds down because of the possibility of black ice.

Be careful, especially on bridges and on- and off-ramps.

There have been a few crashes but it is not yet known if black ice was a factor.

A pickup hit a house in West Hartford and a school bus crashes are reported in Wallingford in Hartford.
