New Haven police have seized five guns found in the basement of a vacant building under construction Saturday.
Police said workers found the weapons, a Hi-Point 9mm firearm, a 20 gauge sawed-off shotgun, a Bullpup rifle, a Mac 11 (also called a Colbry M11 9mm) and an AK-47 rifle, in the basement of 133 Hamilton St. under the floor.
