South Windsor police have arrested a local man accused of forging his grandmother's signature on a bill of sale for a car and selling it on Craigslist.
Police said the incident happened in August.
The buyer was not able to register the vehicle and learned there was a lien on the car, according to police.
Police later obtained an arrest warrant for Gary Deming, 23.
Police arrested him on Wednesday and he was charged with forgery in the second degree and larceny in the fourth degree.
He was held on $1,800 surety bond and will be appear in Manchester Superior Court on Thursday.
