A man suffered minor injuries when he was hit by a car near the Gift Cottage in Bethel and police have not charged the driver.
Bethel Police said Larry Craybas stepped into the road along Greenwood Avenue to stop a speeding driver when another vehicle struck him.
Craybas was transported to Danbury Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Craybas was not in a crosswalk and police said speed was not a factor in the accident. They have not charged the driver who struck Craybas.
