Interstate 95 north in Bridgeport has reopened after an overturned tractor-trailer and a separate tractor-trailer fire closed multiple lanes for hours on Wednesday morning.
Authorities said a tractor-trailer carrying produce overturned shortly before 4 a.m. and the northbound side of the highway between exits 28 and 29 was closed. The entire highway has since reopened.
A separate tractor-trailer fire had closed the right and center lanes of I-95 north between exits 27 and 27A, state Department of Transportation officials said. Those lanes have also since reopened.
There is no word if any injuries were reported in either incident.
