Police Investigate 2 Incidents of Man Groping Female Juvenile Joggers

Milford police are investigating to incidents of suspicious encounters involving a man groping juvenile female joggers.

A man inappropriately touched a girl who was jogging near Beach Avenue and Chapel Street in Milford around 6 p.m. on Sunday, police said.

The man was thin, appeared to be in his 20s and was wearing a leather jacket, police said.

Then, there was a similar incident around 4 p.m. on Monday, when a man ran up behind another girl who was jogging in the area of Grant Street in Milford and inappropriately touched her, police said.

The description was of a man with brown hair, in his 20s, who stands around 5-foot-10. He was also wearing sunglasses. The victim saw the man in an older four-door black vehicle just before the incident, according to police.

It's unclear if it was the same man in both incidents.

Police are reminding parents to talk to their children about reporting suspicious or uncomfortable incidents to police.
