A junior at Quinnipiac University was pronounced dead on Thursday.
Nick Lucaj, a junior from Katonah, New York, who was studying chemistry, died on Dec. 1, the Quad News reports.
School officials have confirmed the report.
"There are no words to adequately express our sympathy for this profound loss for Nick's family and friends," Vice President and Dean of Students Manuel Carreiro told students through an announcement, the Quad News reports. "We extend our prayers and condolences."
