A Stamford man has been arrested on accusations he videotaped a girl while she was changing in a Forever 21 fitting room.
Stamford police said they arrested Hector Celestino Reynos Tuesday after a juvenile victim reported that he recorded her while she was undressing in a fitting room in the store at Stamford Town Center.
Police are investigating whether Reynos has done this before.
Reynos was charged with voyeurism and risk of injury to a minor. He was held on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 31.
Police praised the victim for reporting the incident.
“The Victim in this case is a true hero; her actions directly led to the removal of this predator from the street,” Lt. Michael Noto wrote in a post on Facebook.
