Three Transported After Crash in Glastonbury

A section of Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury is closed after a car crashed into a pole Thursday morning.

According to officials, a car with three passengers crashed into a pole just after 1:30 a.m.

Firefighters said the vehicle had three people inside and one was out of the vehicle when crews arrived. The other two were removed once the power in the downed wire was shut down.

One person was transported to the hospital by LifeStar and the other two were transported by ambulance, fire officials said. There is no word on the extent of the injuries.

The road will be shut down for repairs to the pole until further notice.
